Visitors to my Garden

A busy week of visitors to my garden.
One morning, at 5.50am, as I was having coffee on my outside chair, I saw a Giraffe. He was feeding in the trees opposite.
Later, while I exercised a Warthog passed and Baboons played in near by trees. As my time draws to an end I reflected on all the game I have seen from my window, its an impressive list.

Night visitors that I did not see.
4 Lions wandered passed my house and then continued through the camp, they left the paw print above.
A Leopard was seen crossing the road in front of my house.
An Hyena paw print was 3 meters from my door.
Hippo's have left their droppings in my garden, and called at my window as they passed.
A Civet has been sited and there is a dung pile close

On a couple of mornings a large family of mongoose have scampered passed.
A large Monitor Lizard is a regular afternoon visitor and one is living in my ceiling.
Bush Buck live close by, this photo of one on a termite mound, was taken from my door
Elephants are constant, welcomed visitors (I am going to miss them)

Inside the house has its own share of wild life.
A pretty frog is living in the bathroom and lots of geckoes are on the walls.
On the down side, I have found one scorpion in the bathroom.

Now that it is hot and dry, less Puku, Impala and Giraffe graze close by, Warthog are more frequent visitors. Baboons and monkeys are constant noisy amusing visitors.
The monkeys have a game. It is jumping on to my tin roof from a tree, bounding to the otherside and then jumping on to another tree. The troop do it one after the other. It is very noisy.

The dead Black Mamba, pictured to the right, was killed in Anka's office.

It is the same type that left its skin, above my door, earlier in the year.
