I have stayed at Dave's Bed and Breakfast and would highly recommend it.
It is good value for about $ AUS 115 double
Walking distance to the RED and BLUE BUS. For about $10 a day you can visit all the sites.
The buses do a loop so you can get of and on when you like. Allow three days for the Buses.
